Greetings Reggaemuffins! Bickle is a word used more in the old days to refer to food in Jamaica. Here is my Sunday Bickle dash out.
I decided to fry some fish to combine with my escoveitch sauce which I made last week. Kitchen in Japan are generally small so I had the fish scaled, gutted and cut by the good folks at the fish store.
Washed with lemon 🍋, added some garlic powder, some black pepper , a little salt and few of my favorite herbs. I wanted a crispy texture so I threw in some starch.
Some chicken , lettuce, boiled eggs ,raw carrots and cucumber also cane to the party. The escoveitch sauce added that kick they all needed. It was well received.
