Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut:
- Kuesioner
Instrumen yang akan digunakan untuk mengungkap data variabel penelitian ini adalah angket tertutup, variabel kelengkapan fasilitas laboratorium komputer diisi oleh koordinator laboratorium atau guru TKJ
sebagai sumber data kelangkapan fasilitas laboratorium komputer yang nantinya menjadi perbandingkan dengan Standar Permendiknas RI No.40 2008.
Serta dilakukan juga penyebaran angket mengenai kelangkapan fasilitas laboratorium komputer yang diisi oleh siswa kelas X kompetensi keahalian TKJ. Instrumen ini berguna untuk mengetahui kelengkapan
fasilitas laboratorium komputer kompetensi keahlian TKJ di SMK Nasional Berbah Yogyakarta menurut sudut pandang siswa. Sedangkan untuk variabel metode mengajar guru, dimana setiap pertanyaan telah
memiliki alternatif jawaban yang dipilih oleh responden, yang dimana responden adalah siswa kelas X kompetensi keahlian TKJ.
- Dokumentasi
Dokumentasi pada penelitian ini digunakan untuk memperoleh data mengenai kelengkapan fasilitas laboratorium, jumlah siswa, gambaran umum SMK Nasional Berbah Sleman, data nilai hasil belajar semester genap tahun ajaran 2013/2014 kompetensi keahlian TKJ di SMK Nasional
Berbah Yogyakarta.

Data collection methods used in this study are as follows:
- Questionnaire
Instruments that will be used to reveal the data of this research variable is a closed questionnaire, variable completeness of computer laboratory facilities filled by laboratory coordinator or teacher TKJ
as a data source of computer lab facilities capture which will be compared with Permendiknas RI Standard No.40 2008.
And also carried out the questionnaire about the scarcity of computer lab facilities filled by students of class X competence keahalian TKJ. This instrument is useful to know the completeness computer laboratory facilities competence of TKJ expertise in SMK Nasional Berbah Yogyakarta according to students' point of view. As for the variables of teaching methods teachers, where each question hashas an alternative answer selected by the respondent, which is where the respondent is a class X student competence of TKJ skills.
- Documentation
The documentation in this research is used to obtain data on the completeness of laboratory facilities, the number of students, the general picture of the National SMK Berbah Sleman, the data of the learning outcomes of the semester of the academic year 2013/2014 competence of TKJ expertise in the National Vocational School
Berbah Yogyakarta.
