I think the main problem with online dating is the fatigue from the same type of communication. People often start conversations with the same phrases, and because of this, everything quickly becomes boring. But sometimes the platform really affects the atmosphere of communication. When a friend started using the Hily dating app, he said that it was easier to find people with similar interests there, rather than just random profiles. I think this is why modern dating apps now focus more on compatibility, and not just on appearance.
