Haha! I was going to just leave it at that and leave you mystified.
Starting my new job on Wednesday at the music school, working on their apps, gives me a real sense of purpose. A lot of the projects I’ve worked on in the past haven’t always been fulfilling on the pride level.
I’ll tell you more about the job and the company as I get into it but it feels good to be joining a company with a genuine purpose.
The interview process went so smoothly, there were two stages, the first was a Teams call which went brilliantly followed by an in-person meeting at their office a week later.
I had a feeling it was going to become an offer. It did!
I’ll be mostly working remotely with some weeks in the office, so a very good balance.
I’ll tell you all about it as I get into it.
Starting a new job can be a bit scary, but I hope it goes well. Working around music will be cool anyway.
I’m curious to know what the software looks like. Have an induction on Wednesday and yes, there are some daunting prospects.
