Hello dear Friends, here I am again with a handwork for our little one.
A few days ago I took my daughter to the city for a little shopping. I initially went to the craft supplies section onnly to buy some yarns, but litte Kobold has seen a bright red fabric with stars motive in the box for sale and she coerced me to buy some.
She said that she wanted to have a clothe with stars like Mommy's shirt.
No, she didn't throw a tantrum, but I just can't say "No" to her pleading eyes.
She rarely asked for anything while shopping anyway and the fabric is indeed very beautiful, so I ended up buying it.
Furthermore, I do need to learn making a dress from scratch.
Previously I only altered / recycled my old outfit to make some casual dresses for her, only suitable for playing... not necessarily need to be beautifully made.
This time I can finally make something pretty for her 😍 and brand new.
The result ofy handy work can be seen in the pictures below:

Hallo liebe Freunde, hier bin ich wieder mit einer Handarbeit für unsere Kleine.
Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich meine Tochter in die Stadt zum Einkaufen mitgenommen. Ursprünglich war ich nur in der Abteilung für Bastelbedarf, um einige Garne zu kaufen, aber der kleine Kobold hat einen leuchtend roten Stoff mit Sternenmotiv in der mit grosem Rabatt zum Verkauf stehenden Schachtel gesehen und sie hat mich gezwungen, welche zu kaufen.
Sie sagte, dass sie ein Kleidungsstück mit Sternen wie Mamas Hemd haben wolle.
Nein, sie hat keinen Wutanfall bekommen, aber ich kann einfach nicht "Nein" zu ihren flehenden Augen sagen.
Beim Einkaufen hat sie ohnehin selten nach etwas gefragt, und der Stoff ist in der Tat sehr schön, so dass ich es schließlich gekauft habe.
Außerdem muss ich lernen, ein richtig neues Kleid zu machen.
Früher habe ich nur mein altes Outfit umgeändert/recycelte, um ein paar lässige Kleider für sie zu machen, die nur zum Spielen geeignet sind... es muss nicht unbedingt schön gemacht sein.
Dieses Mal kann ich endlich etwas Hübsches für sie anfertigen 😍 und brandneu.

Rot scheint ihre Lieblingsfarbe zu sein.
Damals dachte ich immer, dass leuchtende Farbe nicht zu der dunkle Haut gut passt.
Das war zumindest, was ich immer gehort habe. Aber ich glaube diese Theorie inzwischen nicht mehr so stark.

She is a good angel indeed; i.e. "not throwing a tantrum" or "rarely asking for anything while your shopping", etc. I totally agree with you, the fabric is beautiful indeed.

Thank you Tangmo. Sometimes she did ask something, but if it is really something unreasonable to buy, I can normally still reason with her.
It's not like she would make me embarrased in the public space just because her request is rejected.
That is why I think I should give her some appreciation for behaving so well most of the time LOL.

Sie hat schon einen sehr guten Geschmack. Und wenn sie sich das bei Dir auch abgeschaut hat finde ich es noch schöner das sie es haben wollte. Und wenn man dann ein gemeinsames Projekt startet, wie die Erstellung dieses Kleides gehört es ja auch dazu Einkaufen zugehen, auszusuchen, beim fertigen dabei zu sein und sich dann zu freuen wenn das Unikat angezogen werden kann. Finde ich super super schön.

Sie möchte auch immer dabei sein, wenn ich den Stoff bearbeiten. Ich muss ab und zu sogar warnen, dass sie nicht den Stoff mit ihrem Stift anmalt. Sie hat ja immer gesehen, wie ich die Muster auf dem Stoff mit Kreide gezeichnet habe und sie möchte mich immitieren 😂.
