On October 4, 2017 a pedestrian attempting to cross the highway M-52, in the Iskitimsky District of Russia at night, got struck by the vehicle with the dashcam. The driver of the vehicle stopped to catch his breath after the traumatic, out of nowhere encounter, but soon after, three passing cars ran over the body of the man on the road. Two of the three probably went right over the body, though the third may have just grazed him.
The authorities reportedly announced the cammer will not be charged with hitting the pedestrian, because the dashcam video showed there was little he could have done to prevent the collision with the man, who did not wear reflective clothing, or otherwise made himself visible at night in snowy weather.
