Powerful wealthy people wanted more power and more wealth so they created a system designed to siphon the money from you and me. The problem is that we never stood up for ourselves and we certainly didn't fight back.
They will continue to drain you and profit from your hard work while you barely get by until people get smart enough to stand up and organize. Look how many people used to be in the middle class who are barely hanging and barely keep their head above water.
This was a specific effort that started in the 80s. And since that time, the 1% have taken more from you and your family than you'll even know in benefits that you should have had, vacation time you deserved but didn't get. Wage increases you never got.You've got two choices: Organize in solidarity (unionize) or get used to it. Your life will never be easier than it is right now, you will never get out from under debt if you started life out in poverty, you will never, ever make the wages you deserve if you are working for one of many corporations who control the game. You will always barely get by, just enough to afford the internet, some fast food, a few beers here and there, maybe pay for your antidepressant prescription but that's it.
Or you can just be reasonable and live below your means. I don't like the current system but i don't think you fully understand it. Most of the people in 1% are not bankers. Some of them do own bonds and stuff like that but there is nothing wrong with debt if it has the possibility to make more wealth. The thing is, we have debt for things that don't create value like a car. It looses value in fact. We need to learn about financial education and live below our mean and only take on debt when it is necessary. You don't need an expensive house. You don't need all of those expensive luxuries. If you can't afford it then don't buy it.
