Let The Building Process Begin

As Decentraland marches closer to their Terraform Event on December 15th, the community is increasingly eager to get their hands on their land plots and begin constructing their first projects. From it’s inception, Decentraland has set out to make their platform accessible to both technical and non-technical users alike — a vision shared by district0x.

In an effort to catalyze the development of the virtual world, we are excited to announce a partnership between Ethlance and Decentraland to assist in the growth and curation of a community of freelance 3d modelers, designers, and developers.

How It Works

For Land Owners

New land owners looking for some technical assistance can head to the Find Candidates page of Ethlance and select “Decentraland Scene Developer” in the skills bar. From there, you will be able to access a list of 3d experts willing to help you create your virtual dream project.
Always remember to check out the designers portfolio, ask questions and make sure you are 100% comfortable with your freelancer before sending them any of your hard earned ETH.

For Designers

For designers, head to Become a Freelancer, connect your social accounts and tell the community a little bit about yourself. Be sure to add “Decentraland Scene Developer” in your skill set. simply send the transaction and your all set!

(Please Note: The transaction fees on the Ethereum network are currently higher than normal, please be aware and comfortable with all transaction costs prior to approving any and all transactions. This site can help you accurately price transactions.)

Bonus MANA Bounty!

As a way to thank our amazing community of developers and designers for assisting in building out this new platform, Decentraland is offering a 1,000 MANA reward (enough to buy one LAND plot in your district of choice) to the first 20 qualified designers who sign up for the Ethlance platform with the skill “Decentraland Scene Developers”.

How To Participate

Simply sign up on Ethlance (as described above) and send out a tweet tagging @decentraland with a link to your portfolio. The Decentraland team will then vet the winners and reach out directly to disperse bounty rewards.

Just like in the real world, Decentraland is scarce, non-fungible, and transferable; making it a logical asset for trade.
