Censorship! Documented Hypocrisy! Deep Dives 20

On a deep dive on Wikileaks I was researching Censorship. It would have been fantastic to find a few key sinister phrases that would relate to the Rampant Draconian attack on Free Speech we are facing today. I didn't! What I did find was the fact Wikileaks has documented the highest manner of Hypocrisy this century, not exaggerating! The very Tyrants Trampling the 1st Amendment Today were the biggest proponents of Globally speaking out against censorship, and funding heavily in their own words "Internet Freedom".

The following wikileaks are from Hillary Clinton's Emails during her time in office as Secretary of State during the Obama Administration around 2010. It's important to understand that Heavy Censorship of media and social networking platforms started in 2016 by the very same Oligarchs of Progressive Liberals that were in power during 2010 when these leaks were penned, and are also in power today responsible for draconian censorship in 2020 and now 2021. Without Sarcasm or side commentary, I will let the reader judge these quotes for themselves,

Subject: CAN THE STATE DEPARTMENT'S AMBITIOUS NEW PLAN TO SUBVERT AUTOCRATIC REGIMES ONLINE ACTUALLY SUCCEED?
https://wikileaks.org/clinton-emails/emailid/22712

"a free Internet allows people everywhere to read whatever they want and express their views without fear of harassment ... theoretically"

"The rapid growth of online activity has opened up a whole new world of possibilities for subtly undermining repressive regimes -- without boots on the ground and, so far, with only a reasonably modest financial commitment. And the State Department has dived head first into this new frontier."

"Alec Ross, Clinton's senior advisor for innovation, framed the great conflict of the 21st century as between open and closed systems. The United States, he said, stood "for openness, with an open Internet at its core."

(Note: Alec Ross is an American technology policy expert who was Senior Advisor for Innovation to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for the duration of her term as Secretary of State. Wikipedia)

This email to Hillary Clinton is from Alec Ross after Hillary gave her speech on Internet freedom. Alec Ross is ready for the information war! He has a plan to bring internet freedom to those under repressive regimes,( or maybe repressive Corporate Tyrants hello 2020) Again this post isn't meant to roast on The Liberal Proggressive nobility, I am simply comparing 2010 to 2020 to present and the reader can make their own conclusions, please comment at the end of the post on your interpretation.

"Separately, I wanted to share some key activities following up on your Internet Freedom speech, which has reverberated
globally. Here is what we are doing to maintain forward momentum:

  1. With your blessing, we will build a new architecture of States who share our principles of Internet freedom and are committed to not just espousing those principles, but collaborating in measurably reducing the number of States that
countervail the freedoms you outlined in your speech.
2)Jared and I met with Stanford President John Hennessy last week and we will work through Stanford to indirectly launch an innovation competition for the best apps and programs that provide tools for circumvention of politically
    motivated censorship.
3)Maria Otero and Bob Hormats will co-chair a session in which we are hauling in the major, relevant technology companies. There may be some squealing, but we want to ensure that the private sector understands our values and
make more carefully considered decisions about the deals they cut with foreign governments. In these meetings, we will also look for the private sector to contribute resources (financial, engineering, hardware, etc.) in support of your Internet Freedom objectives. Finally, we intend to build an industry-led coalition with a set of standards that have real teeth and accountability.

"Her major premise is that political liberty begets economic prosperity. Her minor premise is that, in the 21st century, protecting Internet openness is essential to maintaining a free society -- and thus is crucial to achieving economic well-
being, as well."

"To begin with, there is her take on WikiLeaks. It is, at bottom, that whoever stole the cables should be thrown in the brig. But everything else that happened should be regarded as the price of living in a free society. This is entirely fair-and utterly refreshing, coming from the government official fourth in the line of succession to the President (not to mention the head of the agency most roiled by the cables' release). More broadly, against a backdrop of overwhelming diplomatic tension about civil protests, she urges the international community to embrace the semi-anarchy of the Internet and social media."

"speech is, as much as anything, a warning that if America is going to talk the talk about censorship abroad, we have to walk the walk at home, as well. This is the sense in which her speech is a genuine (and almost certainly self-conscious) act of courage reminding us that, as always, the most important political choices we can make begin at home."

"Secretary of State Hillary Clinton recently described web restrictions by more than 40 governments as a
"disturbing trend." Governments can't escape the impact of today's social networks and the U.S. is committed to helping people worldwide connect, she said in an April 12 speech.

"We will stand with those who exercise their fundamental freedoms of expression and assembly in a peaceful way, whether in person, in print, or in pixels on the Internet," she said."

These wikileaks posts describe a time in the U.S. that I clearly forgot about. It's stunning because I don't ever recall the Liberal Progressive Mafia being extreme in their stance on Free Speech. Do they carry the same sentiments in 2021 as they did under Obama? I literally struggle with articulating the obvious Hypocrisy between today and yesterday

And now for my proverbial Golden Ticket! The previous links were as much HRC and staff copy and pasting high profile stories from the indentured media that serves them. The posts were gold in the fact I would have never found such blatant hypocrisy on censorship had I searched the net, and would not even consider what the Queen of the Liberal Progressive establishment was up to during her time as Secretary of State and how that time relates to censorship in the U.S. today. My next Wikileaks is special. It is an original correspondence with Sheryl Sandberg congratulating Hillary Clinton and staff on a speech on Internet Freedom.

"Sheryl Kara Sandberg is an American business executive, billionaire and philanthropist. Sandberg serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Facebook and the founder of LeanIn.Org. In June 2012, she was elected to Facebook's Board of Directors, becoming the first woman to serve on its board. Wikipedia"

As you can see Sheryl Sandberg is a very heavy hitter on the Social Networking front at the time she wrote this email.

https://wikileaks.org/clinton-emails/emailid/33299

"I wanted to reach out and congratulate you and Secretary Clinton on the important and thoughtful speech she delivered yesterday on internet
freedom. The Secretary highlighted the important challenges to advancing a freedom agenda and laid out a reasoned framework that can guide
international policymakers and private companies like ours. All of us at Facebook are grateful for the opportunity to offer our ideas and
suggestions as Alec Ross and others were field testing elements of the framework — only the most recent example of the effective and
productive collaboration we find in working with your senior colleagues. We look forward to continuin g to work together and supporting the
Secretary in this important work. On behalf of Mark Zuckerberg and myself, please give her our warmest congratulations.

Separately, I would like to invite Secretary Clinton to be a guest speaker at a dinner series I run at my home —the Women of Silicon
Valley. These are personal events that I have been hosting for about five years. Attendees are the senior women working in the valley, most in
technology companies as well as physicians and nonprofit leaders. Usually 40-50 women attend. The basic format is that we have a cocktail
hour followed by a buffet dinner where we sit in a large circle and have an open discussion with the guest speaker. The events are always
completely off-the-record. In one exception, we allowed this to be included in an article in Fortune, which you can look at to get a feel for this -http:ilmoney.on,com/2008/09/25/ news/newsmakers/sel lers valleygids.fortune/inded tm?postversion.2008 1. Past guest speakers have
included Mayor Bloomberg, Queen Rania, Steve Ballmer, Carly Fiorina, Gloria Steinem, John Chambers, Arianna Huffington, Meg Whitman, Billie
Jean King, George Lucas, and many others. If Secretary Clinton ever had an evening in the San Francisco area where she could do this, I would
love to have her. I think this is an important audience for her to reach, particularly in light of yesterday's speech.

On a more personal note, I have long heard a lot about you through our mutual friends. I am a huge fan of yours from watching your career
from afar. I remember watching you speak on behalf of President Clinton during the impeachment discussions and being so inspired. I think I
became a better public speaker from aspiring to live up to your example. I would love to have a chance to meet you one day, perhaps on a trip
or when you are finished with this job."

My very best,
Sheryl

Comments anyone? My head is spinning. I am sure someone with a better grasp than me on journalism could come up with one hell of a post bases on the information I post. I work for a living, Im blog posting this as a hobby. I was struggling to drive the point home on the obvious hypocrisy, the very Tyrants responsible for Draconian Censorship publicly spoke a different tune in Grand Orwellian Fashion.

The final piece is Hillary Clintons speech that everyone in Wikileaks was gushing about

"On their own, new technologies do not take sides in the struggle for freedom and progress, but the United States does. We stand for a single internet where all of humanity has equal access to knowledge and ideas. "

"Some countries have erected electronic barriers that prevent their people from accessing portions of the world’s networks. They’ve expunged words, names, and phrases from search engine results. They have violated the privacy of citizens who engage in non-violent political speech."

I have taken the quotes on HRC and her stance on Internet Freedom and have made several memes, let me know what you think
