My wife and I watched a documentary called "Children of the Snow" a while ago. It was pretty unsettling give it was so close to home. I asked my brother in law who is a bit older than me and grew up outside of Detroit if he remembered the abductions back then, but he said he didn't. It was only a small part of the documentary that touched on the fox island thing, most of it was about the child disappearances in the Clarkston/Waterford area back in the 70's.
