The DeepOnion's White Paper's Alpha V.1.0 released on Jan 3, 2018. was a massive breakthrough for DeepOnion. The detailed explanations, which are about to be perfected over time, have made me curious. The paper contains so much info, but one thing sparked my interest so much – Vote Central, so I have decided to sum up what it will be (according to White Paper) and why it is crucial for all of us.

Vote Central will be a voting platform based on blockchain technology which purpose is to gather opinions and votes concerning big ideas and essential decisions when it comes to the project. Simply put – every member of the community has a right to apply for voting and state his opinion concerning the specific proposal. The weight of the vote will be based on ONION wallet balance and contribution to the community. Every member will need to submit a sign-up message to prove their balance. There will be three expected concentric circles of voting:
1) The inner circle (core) consists of our dev team and initial founders.
2) Surrounding this are our airdrop founders who have the right to vote in vote central.
3) Finally, the exterior consists of long-term DeepOnion supporters, and those who have made significant contributions towards the project.
The details have not been sorted out yet, but I am expecting realistic approvals since the whole idea is very democratic and it shows how the Dev team respects its community.
For me as a member, this is a sign that there is awareness when it comes to the value that community has brought to DeepOnion. Our work matters, our belief in ONION counts and, with Vote Central, we will be able to say our opinion regarding the project. This feature shows that the whole project is based on innovative thinking and bold moves.
