Should Onion Nodes be Monetized?

DeepOnion is among the few Cryptocurrencies with high number of real Nodes but this may change with the launch of DeepOnion Mobile Wallet. This will mean that mobile users would not have to sync the entire Blockchain to send and receive Onions. The Number of available nodes could most likely decrease in big numbers from its current level, making the Onion Blockchain less secure and most importantly, defeating the purpose of Blockchain — Decentralization.
What if this can be prevented by incentivizing users to run Deeponion Nodes? Some altcoins such as Siacoin actually Incentivize users who run their Nodes but Most Crypto developers don't seem to care about this things. They'd rather rely on Voluntary efforts which isn't sustainable.

Node owners could be incentivized with DeepPoints depending on how often they run the Nodes. The deeppoints can be converted to Onions and Airdropped as usual on weekly basis.

The benefit of running lots of Nodes are quite enormous. Aside from securing the Network, they are often seen as sign that a Cryptocurrency is very active with committed users hence considered as important. This could also draw in curious investors andthe value of Onion keeps increasing as a result. .

DeepOnion Nodes numbers are impressive. How do we continue to maintain this number after the Mobile Wallet is launched. Or will the Node size not be affected too much by the mobile wallet launch? I hope so!
