DeepOnion Newsletter! (Not official, but a good one!)
1- New version of our official Wallet. That's right, our developers worked together to make this new update. In addition, a change has been made to the visual GUI among others.
Here are the new features integrated into the wallet:
(1) Integrated with latest TOR (version 0.3.3)
(2) Latest checkpoints to make the network safer
(3) Improved build process, now using Autotools with Linux build
(4) DeepVault Fee is reduced to 0.01 ONION
(5) New Wallet graphics look and feel
(6) Misc small improvements
2- DeepOnion has integrated the latest TOR protocol into its platform! So, gentlemen, from now on, DeepOnion can offer the latest version of TOR 0.3.3.0 to the users with its new version V1.5!
Some technical specifications!
Technical enhancements that come with the update include:
a) Stronger cryptographic hashing function (replacing SHA1 / DH / RSA1024 with SHA3 / ed25519 / curve25519)
b) Improved directory protocol, leaking far less information to directory servers.
c) Improved directory protocol, with a reduced surface for targeted attacks.
d) Better onion address security against impersonation.
e) More extensible introduction / rendezvous protocol.
f) A cleaner and more modular codebase.
3- DeepOnion Android Wallet is now a reality! In the last Q & A of DeepOnion, a test has been carried out where it is observed how a transaction is sent successfully through our application in development. This will undoubtedly help the project and more people will see us good eyes! Obviously there are some details to be fixed but the Mobile Wallets will be with us very soon! iOS here we go!
4- DeepOnion has been the target of several pages after the mention of 50 cent in portals like theverge.com. That's right, as everyone knows 50cent was a person who at the time decided to accept Bitcoin for his record work and it seems that his decision has paid off. 50 cent has achieved no less than 8 million dollars in profits! And to our surprise, we have appeared on multiple portals as an opportunity just like the rapper did at the time!
