Namun yang terjadi di lapangan malah sebaliknya, Komandan Ahmad Jarrar yang syahid setelah bertempur 8 jam saat terkepung dalam sebuah rumah melawan lebih dari 100 tentara Israel sendirian beberapa waktu yang lalu, persembunyiannya ditemukan oleh Israel karena informasi dari Keamanan Otoritas Palestina! ![image](

) Keputusan Hamas dan Jihad Islami untuk memboikot rapat mendadak itu sudah benar, tapi kurang efektif karena tidak ada pernyataan apapun yang mengecam Otoritas Palestina yang bermain dengan pisau bermata dua!

Reaksi negara-negara Arab bagaimana? Mesir bereaksi dengan melakukan kontrak pembelian gas dari Israel senilai USD 15 miliar selama 10 tahun. Transaksi itu membuat Natanyahu melompat dan menari kegirangan, bukan hanya karena USD 15 miliar dan makna yang terkandung dibalik transaksi yaitu naturalisasi hubungan, tetapi juga karena pemerintah Mesir sudah mau menjual “gas curian” dari Palestina itu ke negara-negara Eropa dan Arab. Mesir yang awalnya adalah negara swasembada gas kini mengimpor gas, mendingan kalau mengimpor dari Emirate atau Qatar, ini dari Israel! Persis seperti negara sebelah, sebuah negara yang pernah mendapatkan penghargaan dari FAO karena swasembada pangan, kini mengimpor beras!
