¡Botitas ha vuelto!
Botitas was born in 2018. At that time, the chain had not yet split and it was assigned as support for the promotion room of the now extinct @mosqueteros community, of which I was a part. In mid-2020, it was updated to work on HIVE and, as part of this, its name was changed to Fisgón. However, after a while, it stopped working due to updates to the Discord libraries and later the cancellation of free services from Heroku.
La motivación principal de su creación fue dar relevancia a la sala de promoción del canal Discord. Preguntas como: ¿Realmente alguien revisa las salas de promoción? ¿Tiene realmente impacto en la visibilidad de las publicaciones?. En la actualidad desde mi perspectiva son preguntas aún mas vigentes. Ahora tenemos la opción de comunidades de forma directa a través de la blockchain, con ello los curadores pueden bien enfocarse en las publicaciones de su respectiva comunidad y las salas de promoción pierden aún mas relevancia.
The main motivation behind its creation was to give relevance to the promotion room of the Discord channel. Questions such as: "Do people really review promotion rooms? Do these rooms really have an impact on the visibility of posts?" These are still pressing questions from my perspective today. Now we have the option of communities directly through the blockchain, which means curators can focus on the posts of their respective community, further diminishing the relevance of promotion rooms.
¿Deberíamos entonces deshacernos totalmente de las salas de promoción? Bueno en gran parte de los casos yo opinaría que si, sería cuestión de que cada comunidad evaluara si realmente sus curadores utilizan dichas salas. Yo mismo me he visto publicando mi post de forma desenfrenada en cada servidor de discord al que pertenezco, y creo que es una rutina que sigue la mayoría.
Should we then completely get rid of promotion rooms? Well, in most cases, I would say yes, it would be a matter of each community evaluating whether their curators really use these rooms. Although I'm sorry to admit it, Frequently I've been posting my post frantically on every Discord server I belong to, and I think it's a routine that most people follow.
¿Hay algo que podamos hacer para que las salas de promoción cumplan su función?
La respuesta es compleja, pero la solución que a mi se me ha ocurrido es pedir como requisito que para publicar en dichas salas sea necesario elegir uno de los últimos post promocionados, votarlo y comentarlo. De esta forma se obliga a que cada miembro de la comunidad tenga una mayor participación en la misma ya que al menos tendrá que revisar alguna de las publicaciones de otro de los miembros. Es claro que no se aceptará que la publicación votada y comentada sea de él mismo.

Es evidente que la tarea de revisar que estos requisitos se cumplan no es humanamente posible, es ahí donde entra Fisgón. El Bot se encargará de hacer las consultas necesarioas a la blockchain y verificar los requisitos, antes de admitir una publicación para que sea promocionada en la sala.

Lo primero que debes hacer es integrar a Fisgón a tu servidor mediante el siguiente enlace:

Después de autorizar los permisos y comprobar que eres humano, el bot será agregado a tu servidor

Para el rol @everyone debemos quitar los permisos de Enviar mensajes e Insertar enlaces.

Luego en Roles, agregaremos el rol de Fisgón. El rol se crea automáticamente al unirse el bot al servidor.

¿Cómo usar el comando de promoción?
How to use the promotion command?
Ya que quitamos lo permisos para enviar mensajes, los usuarios normales no podrán escribir directamente en la sala "promobot". Sin embargo podrá usar cualquier otra sala para hacer su promoción, si leíste bien, CUALQUIER OTRA SALA. En la sala que y a la cual tengan permiso para escribir, tendrán acceso a los comandos del bot mediante la diagonal "/".
"Since we removed the permissions to send messages, normal users will not be able to write directly in the "promobot" room. Requiere dos argumentos, el link que se quiere promocionar y el usuario que ha sido votado y comentado de entre las últimas 20 publicaciones que se encuentren en la sala "promobot". El usuario debe ponerse sin arroba y el link debe ser al post, no a un comentario en el mismo. Se tienen algunas restricciones adicionales. Por ejemplo que el autor no haya promocionado otra publicación recientemente (dentro de las 20 publicaciones que se evalúan) y que el post que se esta promocionando no sea del mismo autor que ha sido votado.
It requires two arguments, the link you want to promote and the user who has been voted and commented on among the last 20 posts in the "promobot" room. The user must be without the @ symbol and the link must be to the post, not to a comment on it. There are some additional restrictions. For example, that the author has not promoted another recent publication (within the 20 posts being evaluated) and that the post being promoted is not from the same author who has been voted.
Ya que evidentemente cuando haya sido creada la sala, no habrá otras publicaciones como para que se puedan cumplir los requisitos, si la sala de promoción tiene menos de 10 publicaciones, se da pase libre y bastará rellenar con cualquier nombre aleatorio el campo de usuario.
Since obviously when the room has been created, there will be no other posts for the requirements to be met, if the promotion room has fewer than 10 posts, a free pass is given and it will be enough to fill in any random name in the user field

Note que el comando se ejecuta en la sala general y no la de promoción. Tras ejecutar el comando, el Fisgón nos enviará un mensaje directo avisándonos que nuestro post ha sido validado, o bien si no se valido, indicándonos cual es el motivo.

En la sala donde se ejecutó el comando, aparecerá un mensaje de que la aplicación no ha respondido, simplemente hay que ignorarlo. Esto se da por que de forma predeterminada Discord espera que el mensaje se conteste en la misma sala, pero no queremos tener links sin control en nuestras salas. Este mensaje de que el Bot no ha respondido, no será visible por nadie, mas que el autor que ha promocionado su publicación.
In the room where the command was executed, a message will appear saying that the application has not responded, you just have to ignore it. This is because by default Discord expects the message to be answered in the same room, but we don't want to have uncontrolled links in our rooms. En la sala "promobot", veremos que es Fisgón quien directamente ha colocado el post a promocionar.

Es un gran aporte amigo, desde hace mucho quería implementar en mi servidor. Ya hice la mayoría del proceso, debo invertir un poco mas de tiempo para comprender la forma de usarlo. No es porque sea complicado, sino por que voy de salida. De igual forma agradecerte por compartirlo.
Me alegra que andes bastante activo, sería bueno si logramos trabajar en algún proyecto juntos.

Claro! Sería genial trabajar en algo.
El bot recibe cualquier frontend ya que reconoce el "/@" y de ahí saca el permlink, que es un identificador único independiente del frontend. Pero al momento de colocar el link en la sala de promoción lo hace mediante peakd. Esto podría modificarlo, pero la verdad estoy desactualizado en que front end's existen, por eso no lo implemente.
Ahora mismo @ecency es bastante popular entre la comunidad Hispana, se han acercado, apoyado a varios proyectos y comunidades de este lado. Están haciendo un trabajo increíble, claro sin desmeritar lo que ha hecho @peakd. Los dos son geniales. !luv

Muy buena propuesta de esta forma todos cumplimos y colaboramos, y que los comentarios sean pertinentes a lo escrito, ojala se cumpla en todos los servidores.
