RE: LAST CHANCE!!! First 25 Custom Icons Are FREE • From Here It's Either Synergy or Incentivize! Change of Plans...

Resteems are indeed very powerful. It is a shame that people do not use them more often. Then people would see other quality people more easily. I do not need a graphic for this initiative, but...

The bot we were talking about was born today. We'll need a graphic or two for it, and I'll gladly pay you for your time. We can discuss it tonight or this weekend on Discord?

P.S. I am definitely going to have two blow out kit winners, and one will win by a resteem. Whoever resteems to the most people gets a kit. That will help get the resteems going hopefully!

You know I always look forward to your projects, @finnian! I'll be at my desk this evening and weekend working on the other project(s) we have, so hit me on discord anytime, brother!

The POST that I resteemed the other day by @jackmiller, is a grassroots movement and you know how I love me some grassroots..haha I think this is a really great way for all of us to really start suppressing the spam posts and nonsense and really start getting support for those who create worthwhile content. I realize quality is subjective, but I think great writers, artists, creators of steemit can agree that some effort is required to produce quality work.

The RESTEEM is a powerful feature and I don't think people understand that yet. Let me know how I can help with the contest! I can show everyone how kickass mine is that you sent and then they'll want one 😉

Think about this (not you since you know, Finnian, but anyone reading):
If you find a post in the feed that just dropped - you read it and find it worthy of an upvote - IF you resteem that post and more people vote on it = the author gets greater rewards for creating good content, you (reader) earn greater curation rewards, and your followers potentially find another quality creator.. THAT IS WIN-WIN-WIN for everybody

is there a post I can read about why resteems are so important and their benefits? I always considered them a bit of a nuisance to be honest that clogged up the feed. Excuse my newbie ignorance.

Resteeming quality posts of another author is the greatest advantage we have on Steemit to enhance the view of content otherwise lost in the feed. Many people find other quality creators via resteems. I'd venture to say more than 75% of my following has come from 3 people resteeming my posts (high-fives @finnian). To be honest, it is probably more like 90%. It is hard to get traction here, especially when everyone is competing for the same reader base. When we help each other, that attracts other people and encourages them to help other people..that's what keeps this community going - sharing knowledge, information, and services is how this blockchain stays running.

That button is, in my humble opinion, the most powerful tool we have. The feed will be clogged with junk regardless if you resteem a post or two a day @nathen007, so I say why not! Of course, you must consider why your followers are following you and what they expect - courtesy goes a long way - do not blast your feed with resteemed posts that are generally not relevant to topics you share about..and if you do - simply share why and many will understand ;)

Read @jackmiller's post that sums it up beautifully:

I never thought about resteems holding that much value until recently, so I have decided to use the option more often. I really like the new projects that I'm seeing in my feed lately and encourage those who are active on the site to continue to create great content.
