don't worry about voting on your own posts, that should be more than fine, just make sure you vote enough on other stuff too...
she won't cuddle a self-voted comment and she will cuddle the same friend at most once every 6hrs...
I just checked her logs - you've cuddled her once, she cuddled you twice so far. With 2482,667914 vs 2491,764914 cuddle-units, you are already in the green and still on rank #42 (hitchhikers guide anyone?) in her friend-ranking. You should see her drop by every now and then for a while still. The last time she checked, your generosity rating was 0.85 (15% self-votes measured)... purr-fect conditions i'd say!

any upvote you give her (comment or post) will increase your "friend-ranking" (which depletes over time but never goes to zero as you receive cuddles back from her, a single upvote and you'll technically be considered for cuddles-back eternally, the frequency will decrease though, albeit that's heavily randomized).
Following her does nothing atm. But that might be a criteria for other random visits by her at a later stage.
I gotta stop giving out all that insider information :P lol
