Sicher habt ihr davon gehört, oder?
In Nashville, Tennessee, USA gab es gestern einen Autobomben Anschlag.
Von den spärlichen Nachrichtenbrocken fällt mir folgendes auf:
- Es passiert am Anfang eines langen Wochenendes (wg. Weihnachten usw.)
- Eine richtig fette Bombe wird in einer zu der Zeit wenig belebten Straße plaziert.
- Die Bombe (das Auto) ist so präpariert, das es 15 Minuten lang eine Warnansage abgibt, die Menschen auffordert von dort zu verschwinden.
- Das Auto wird vor der AT&T Zentrale in Nashville plaziert. Das ist die Schaltzentrale für das Festnetz-Telefon in der Gegend. Die Explosion beschädigt diese schwer.
In den üblichen Pressekonferenzen sagen Typen von Polizei, FBI usw. das sie in alle Richtungen ermitteln - was gewöhnlich bedeutet sie haben keine Ahnung, oder sie wollen nichts sagen.
Ich habe aber schon eine Idee, was da gelaufen ist. An was erinnert einen das Ganze denn als erstes? Einen ganz großen, militärisch genau geplanten Raubzug, so wie im Film.
Die Bombe war nur ein Teil des Plans, sie schaltet die Verbindungen von automatischen Alarmanlagen und Notrufen aus. Wenn ich beim FBI wäre, würde ich sofort alle Banken, Juwelliere, Museen und andere Stellen wo wertvolle Sachen sind, kontrollieren. Würde mich nicht wundern, wenn da was fehlt - vieleicht sogar an mehreren Stellen gleichzeitig.
Nun ja, Montag morgen werden sie herausfinden, ob da wirklich sowas gelaufen ist. Nur aus Langeweile, oder weil er mit seiner Telefonrechnung unzufrieden ist, wird wohl niemand der Telefongesellschaft eine Bombe vor die Tür stellen.
Und ein Terroranschlag war das nicht - solche Täter sorgen nicht vor das möglichst wenig Leute zu Schaden kommen, sondern im Gegenteil.

There was a car bomb attack in Nashville, Tennessee, USA yesterday.
Of the sparse chunks of news, I notice the following:
- It happens at the beginning of a long weekend (because of Christmas etc.)
- A really fat bomb is placed on a street that was then fairly quiet.
- The bomb (the car) is prepared in such a way that it gives a warning announcement for 15 minutes, telling people to get out of there.
- The car is be placed in front of the AT&T headquarters in Nashville. This is the control center for the landline telephone in the area. The explosion seriously damages it.
In the usual press conferences, guys from the police, FBI, etc. say they are investigating in all directions - which usually means they have no idea, or they don't want to say anything.
But I already have an idea what happened there. What is the first thing that reminds you of the whole thing? A really big, precisely planned heist, like in a movie.
The bomb was only part of the plan, it disabled automatic alarms and emergency calls. If I were with the FBI, I would immediately check all banks, jewelers, museums and other places where valuable things are. I wouldn't be surprised if some things there are missing - maybe even in several places at the same time.
Well, Monday morning they'll find out if something really happened there. Just out of boredom, or because he's dissatisfied with his phone bill, no one is likely to put a bomb in front of the phone company's door.
And it was not a terrorist attack - such perpetrators do not ensure that as few people as possible are harmed, on the contrary.
