Neulich machte ich einen kleinen Zwischenstop in Athen, darüber habe ich ja schon hier berichtet.
Im Flughafen gab es zu der Zeit gerade ein Ausstellung und da ich noch Zeit hatte, habe ich mir diese angeschaut.

The idea of the present exhibition had as its starting point the Athens International Airport and after going through various stages of processing, it was transferred to the classrooms of the University where it was delivered as an annual monothematic project to the students of the “Visual Art Applications” laboratory of the Department of Photography and Audiovisual Arts of the University of West Attica.
Die in dem Artikel beschriebene Ausstellung sollte am 31.12.2023 enden. Inzwischen sind aber wohl wieder neue Werke dort ausgestellt.
Es waren ein paar sehr interessante Werke dabei, wie ich finde.
Zum Teil waren die Bilder an der Wand ausgestellt. Am Ende des Raumes gab es aber auch einen Bildschirm auf dem verschiedene Werke präsentiert wurden.
Die Bilder auf dem Bildschirm wechselten relativ schnell und zudem gab es Reflexionen, aber ich denke man bekommt einen Eindruck von den verschiedenen Werken. Wenn jemand zufälliger Weise in Athen am Flughafen vorbei kommt, lohnt es sich die Ausstellung anzuschauen.

At the airport, there was an exhibition going on at the time, and since I had some time, I decided to check it out.

The exhibition described in the article was supposed to end on December 31, 2023. However, new works are now apparently on display.
There were some very interesting works, in my opinion.
Some of the pictures were displayed on the wall. At the end of the room, there was also a screen showing various works.
The images on the screen changed relatively quickly, and there were reflections, but I think you can get an impression of the different works. If anyone happens to pass by Athens Airport, it is worth checking out the exhibition.
