By now everybody has heard about it. There is talk of the Corona virus, but how dangerous is it really and should we be afraid?
The structure of the virus.
The virus looks something like the one in the next picture, this is shown by investigations under the scanning electron microscope. The colours cannot be determined, they would be added later.
We humans know seven different corona viruses. Normally they are pathogens that cause cold symptoms and respiratory infections.
There was once a SARS virus that killed a lot of people. The new corona virus has a similar structure, but we do not know yet if it is as dangerous.
Alert?
Today the WHO has declared an international emergency. Surely that gives one cause for concern! There are already more than 10,000 infected and there are already several deaths. From this fact, it was intuitively said that the virus is dangerous for all of us.
The dead of the virus were mainly older and weaker people, so infected, stable people do not have to fear much. But there are other uncertainties.
In countries other than China, there is a very small risk of infection, as only a few are affected. Residents do not have to be afraid, infections are isolated cases.
A vaccine is not yet in sight, how long it will take to develop one cannot be predicted.

The virus is apparently transmitted via droplets, which is why many people wear a mouthguard and protect themselves. Whether one wants to establish measures such as flight cancellations is a question of politics and society.
Viruses can also appear on doorbells, so it's important to wash your hands to protect yourself.

Inzwischen hat schon jeder davon gehört. Die Rede ist vom Corona Virus, doch wie gefährlich ist es wirklich und müssen wir uns fürchten?
Der Aufbau des Virus.
Das Virus sieht ungefähr so aus wie auf dem nächsten Bild, dies zeigen Untersuchungen unter den Rasterelektronenmikroskop. Die Farben kann man nicht bestimmen, sie würden nachträglich hinzugefügt.
Wir Menschen kennen sieben unterschiedliche Corona Viren. Normalerweise sind Sie Erreger welche Erkältungssymptome und Atemwegsinfektionen auslösen.
Es gab mal einen SARS-Virus, den vielen Menschen das Leben kostete. Das neue Corona-Virus hat einen ähnlichen Aufbau, jedoch wissen wir noch nicht ob dieser genauso gefährlich ist.
Alarm?
Heute hat die WHO einen internationalen Notstand ausgerufen. Das gibt einem doch Grund zur Sorge! Es sind schon über 10.000 infiziert und es gibt auch schon mehrere Todesfälle. Von diesem Fakt den aus wurde man intuitiv sagen, dass das Virus gefährlich ist, für uns alle.
Die Toten des Virus waren hauptsächlich ältere und schwächere Menschen, deshalb müssen sich infizierte, stabile Menschen nicht groß fürchten. Es bestehen jedoch noch weitere Unsicherheiten.
In anderen Ländern als China gibt es eine sehr kleine Ansteckungsgefahr, da nur wenige betroffen sind. Anwohner müssen sich nicht fürchten, Ansteckungen sind Einzelfälle.
Ein Impfstoff ist noch nicht in Sicht, wie lange es dauern wird, bis man einen entwickelt hat kann man auch noch nicht voraussagen.
Übertragung
Das Virus wird über Tröpfchen übertragen, deshalb tragen viele Menschen einen Mundschutz und sich abzusichern. Ob man Maßnahmen wie Flugstreichungen festlegen will, Ist eine Frage der Politik und der Gesellschaft.
Viren können ebenfalls auf Türklingel vorkommen, deshalb ist es wichtig das du dir deine Hände wäschst, Um dich zu schützen.
Viel weiß man noch nicht viel über das Virus, falls du denkst das du betroffen bist suche auf jeden Fall einen Arzt auf!
