Interestingly. It raises again the question of whether some kind of planned economy will be reasonable in the future. Unfortunately that is currently tied to socialism and communism and that makes it seem like a terrible idea to many, an insult. However, the idea is interesting. It reminds me of the science fiction series called WestWorld where there was a powerful super-intelligent artificial being (Rehoboam) able to predict the future by studying all available data and making sure it is going to happen by organizing almost everything in our society, including what job everyone should have. Even there, in a free market society, that entity is seen as evil, although its evil side is more related to the plot, but there is some truth to it. Too much concentrated power, regardless of whether it is technocratic.
