Hallo zusammen,
ich habe den Gespensterwald in Nienhagen angesprochen, doch richtig eingegangen bin ich nicht auf diesen Wald. Der Gespensterwald ist ein ca. 180 ha großer Mischwald mit einem angrenzenden Badestrand. Dieser Badeort besteht seit 1909, was richtig Faszinieren ist durch seine Steilküste.
I have mentioned the Gespensterwald in Nienhagen, but I have not really gone into this forest. The ghost forest is a mixed forest of about 180 hectares with an adjacent beach. This bathing place exists since 1909, which is really fascinating because of its steep coast.

Aber warum heißt der Gespensterwald eigentlich so? Bei Wanderung durch den "Gespensterwald" trifft man auf bizarre, märchenhaft anmutende Bäume und diese regt die Fantasie an. Die kahlen knorrige Bäume mit den einigen Formen erwecken den Eindruck, das im nächsten Moment die Hexe Baba Jaga herauskommen, einem Gespenst oder einem gemeinen Gnom springt heraus.
But why is the Ghost Forest actually called that? When walking through the "Ghost Forest" you meet bizarre, fairytale-like trees and this stimulates the imagination. The bare gnarled trees with some shapes give the impression that in the next moment the witch Baba Jaga come out, a ghost or a mean gnome jumps out.

Bei den diesen seltsamen Bäumen haben lediglich die Baumwipfel Blätter und 2/3 des Baumes ist völlig kahl. Die Stämme sind verworren und die Krone scheint flüchten zu wollen. Daher auch der Name „Windflüchter“. Der Mischwald setzt sich aus einem Baumbestand von 90 – 170 jährigen Eichen, Buchen, Hainbuchen und Eschen zusammen.
In these strange trees, only the tops have leaves and 2/3 of the tree is completely bare. The trunks are tangled and the crown seems to want to flee. Hence the name "wind fugitives". The mixed forest is composed of 90-170 year old oaks, beeches, hornbeams and ash trees.
