there they are, the new stickers. also in the far north of germany. but this time something is different. for the first time there is a lower body under the head, the hand holds a book and the left one lifts up a brush. the lettering is also mystery.

the symbolism of the brush does not need an explanation. but the lettering and the open book reveal the latest information about the artist käpt'n kalle. the sticker is a crossover of the brot&kunst verlag (publishing house) logo and käpt'n kalle's signet. pictogram and text reveal the cooperation between artist and publishing house.
on many journeys, käpt'n kalle experienced a lot. the journey of life, with the question of origin and destination, has also been driving the artist around for quite some time. so he already started writing in cape town in 2016. always looking for the right words to explain himself and his art, as well as to understand the world a little bit better.

three parts with numerous pictures extended by some poems finally formed a book with 120 pages. this has now been published by the brot&kunst verlag. käpt'n kalle is glad to have found a publisher with Florian Arleth, who is not only interested in this kind of art, but also really got involved in the project. accordingly, the words of the artist and now author can be read uncensored.

ein paar worte über die neuste aufkleber kollektion
da hängen sie nun, die neuen aufkleber, an der see im hohen norden deutschlands.
aufkleber im flensburger hafen nicht weit von der dänischen grenze
doch dieses mal ist etwas anders. unter dem kopf befindet sich erstmals ein unterkörper, der rechte arm hält ein buch in der hand und der linke hebt einen pinsel empor. auch der schriftzug gibt rätsel auf.
die symbolik des pinsels wird wohl keiner erklärung bedürfen. doch schriftzug und aufgeschlagenes buch offenbaren die neusten informationen über den künstler käpt'n kalle. der aufkleber stellt ein crossover aus dem logo des brot&kunst verlag verlages und dem signet käpt'n kalles da. piktogram und text offenbaren die kooperation zwischen künstler und verlag.
auf den vielen reisen hat käpt'n kalle schon einiges erlebt. auch die reise des lebens, mit der frage nach herkunft und ziel, treiben den künstler schon seit geraumer zeit umher. so fing er bereits 2016 in kapstadt mit dem schreiben an. immer auf der suche nach den richtigen worten um sich und seine kunst zu erklären sowie um die welt ein wenig besser zu verstehen.

drei teile mit zahlreichen bildern erweitert um einige gedichte, bildeten schließlich ein buch mit 120 seiten. dieses ist nun im brot&kunst verlag erschienen. käpt'n kalle ist froh, mit Florian Arleth einen verleger gefunden zu haben, dem nicht nur kunst am herzen liegt, sondern der sich auch wirklich auf das projekt einlassen konnte. dementsprechend ist die kritische stimme des autors unzensiert zu lesen.
