We turned off the TV and any news "forever" almost one year ago. The amount of unnecessary information, the bombastic titles, the effects that all that trash can provide, led us undoubtedly to the decision.
The same with newspapers, or facebook, or other kind of news and source of them. As well, I am not sure that the journalist (probably there are exceptions and good examples, but...) seek anymore for justice or bringing accurate information.
We feel better also without all the unnecessary information. :-)

That sounds like a great decision. There's just too much noise out there. Less time for noise, more time for music 😀
I deleted my facebook account 2.5 years ago and I've never regretted it.
My time schedule a bit changed lately 😆 Way more time being here on Hive than before.
But here we can pick among the information we are interested in...many creative people and their work, many good ideas to see, and you can skip the ones you are not interested in. A new way of learning new things, and engaging with people from the whole globe.
