Langsam umdenken in der Industrie in Deutschland, Industrie überlegt nun ernsthaft Produktion auf medizinische Geräte umzustellen, großartig, fordere das schon seit Tagen.
Österreich bestellt Schutzausrüstung aus China mit eigenen AUA-Flugzeugen. Passagiermaschinen werden zu Transportflugzeugen. Bin von der Flexibilität begeistert.
Automatisierung und Skalierung von Abläufen in Krankenhäusern und im Gesundheitssystem notwendig, in Zukunft Behandlung mit AI und Robotern.
Preise von Med-Produkten und Medikamenten schießen durch die Decke. Lager mit Schutzmasken wurde gestohlen. Sind weg. Tschechien konfisziert Masken und Beatmungsgeräte, die für Italien gedacht waren. Irre, EU / EU-Solidarität versagt in der Coronakrise völlig.
EU könnte Ressourcen aufteilen, Ärzte und Med-Personal hin und her schicken, der Peak ist nicht in allen EU-Ländern zur selben Zeit. Stattdessen hilft uns China und Russland. Guter Schachzug von Putin. Sehe baldige Aufhebung der EU-Sanktionen und russische Ärzte sammeln damit auch wertvolle Erfahrung mit der Bewältigung der Coronakrise.
Statistiker melden sich in Österreich zu Wort, wie man zu belastbaren Zahlen kommen könnte [1]. Zufälliges Samplen, wie bei seriösen Hochrechnungen, gute Idee, ist gar nicht so schwierig. Warum, wird das nicht gemacht? Brauchen belastbare Zahlen.
Die tatsächliche Todesrate könnte vlt unter <1% liegen, wenn man die Dunkelziffer berücksichtigt. Beispiel: Dunkelziffer 6x. Dann wäre die Todesrate in Wirklichkeit statt 3% ca 0.5% und die Rate an kritischen Fällen 0.83%. So schlimm das ist, das wäre dann keine Rechtfertigung alles auf der Welt über längere Zeit abzudrehen. Krankenhäuser müssen hochgefahren werden, KH kollabieren auch ohne Corona fast.
Dank des medizinischen Fortschritts können wir heute Coronaviren entdecken und testen und SARS-CoV-2 ist die erste Virusausbreitung in der Menschheitsgeschichte, die man live im Internet mitverfolgen kann. Das habe ich am 31. Jänner 2020 geschrieben. Hätte nicht gedacht, dass wir einen globalen Shutdown erleben.
Krankenhäuser müssen hochgefahren werden — koste es was es wolle — damit die Wirtschaft so schnell wie möglich hochgefahren werden kann.

Health status: Stressed yesterday, worked too much in front of the tablet, tensed, as usual when I do too much digital, slept better today but too short (5,5h), otherwise ok.

People in Vienna hardly wear masks on the street (pointless anyway), rather Asians, have more experience with epidemics 😂
Slowly industry in German is rethinking the situation, industry is now seriously considering switching production to medical devices and equipment, great, has been demanding this for days.
Austria orders protective med equipment from China with its own "Austrian" airplanes. Passenger planes become transport planes. I am enthusiastic about that and the flexibility.
Automation and scaling of processes in hospitals and the NHS is absolutely necessary, in future treatment with AI and robots.
Prices of medical products and medicines sky-rocketing. Protective masks are stolen from storage sites. Masks are gone. Czech Republic confiscates masks and respirators that were intended for Italy. Insane, EU / EU solidarity is totally failing in this corona crisis. Fail!
EU could divide resources, send doctors and medical staff back and forth, the peak is not in all EU countries at the same time. Instead, China and Russia are helping us. Good move by Putin. See EU sanctions lifted soon and Russian doctors will also gain valuable experience in dealing with the corona crisis.
Statisticians in Austria are explaining how the state could produce reliable figures [1]. Random Sampling is key, as with any serious projections, great idea, ant it's not that difficult. Why, isn't it done yet? We need reliable figures.
The actual death rate could be less than 1%, if you consider the number of unreported cases. Example: estimated number of unreported cases 6x. Then the actual death rate would be 0.5% instead of 3% and the rate of critical cases 0.83%. As bad as this is, it would not be a justification to shut down everything in the world for a long time. Hospitals have to be ramped up, NHS almost collapsing even without corona.
Thanks to medical progress we can now detect and test coronaviruses and SARS-CoV-2 is the first virus spread in human history that can be followed live on the Internet. I wrote this on 31st January 2020. I never thought and believed we would see a global shutdown.
Hospitals and NHS have to be ramped up — at all costs — so that the economy can be restarted up as quickly as possible.

Verfolge die Karte seit Anfang Jänner fast jeden Tag und hätte nicht gedacht, dass das derart außer Kontrolle gerät. Kann den chinesischen Zahlen nicht ganz trauen. Praktisch keine Neuansteckungen bei einem Land mit 1,4 Milliarden. Wie ist das möglich?

Norddeutschland immernoch keine ausgangsperren aber gruppen von mehr als 2 Personen sind ab Montag nicht mehr erlaubt.
