Hello Hive Community,
I wanted to take a moment to share what I've been working on and why I'm reaching out for support through the Hive Dev Fund.
For those who haven't come across my work before, I've been heads-down building within the Hive ecosystem, most of my energy going into 3Speak, where I've been one of the developers driving things forward.
What I've Been Working On
I built the new 3Speak web app from the ground up, and it's now live and running. But we haven't slowed down behind the scenes; there's been a lot happening.
Right now, our Shorts feature (think TikTok-style vertical videos on Hive) is in its final development stages. You can already check it out at preview.3speak.tv to get a feel for what's coming to the main platform soon.
On top of that, I've been building out an audio platform a system that will let creators upload audio content (podcasts, music, spoken word) and actually earn from it on-chain. It's another piece of the puzzle in making 3Speak a true multi-media hub for the Hive community.
Why I'm Applying
I'm looking for is support to cover AI development tools (like Claude AI) that I use daily in my workflow. These tools make a real difference in how quickly I can ship features and in the code quality. It's a small investment that translates directly into more output for the ecosystem.
Working With a Great Team Mantequilla-Soft
A lot of the progress we've been making lately hasn't been a solo effort. I've been working alongside some really talented developers @meno, @tibfox, and @eddiespino. The collaboration has made a huge difference.
We share ideas, contribute code, and build out features together that strengthen both 3Speak and the wider Hive ecosystem. Everyone on the team brings different skills and experience to the table, which means we move faster and can tackle things that would be much harder for any one person working alone.

The features we build, the problems we solve, and the tools we create all stay accessible to everyone building on Hive. This work isn't just for us it's for the community.

Excellent!! But how does this developments affect the progress of Hive? Will this development bring external income? Will it help new Comer's better get good support? Will it help to develop the current situation this great platform is in now?
Am thinking this is generally not the time for more funding again, if what the money is needed for is not to bring external income to hive, I don't think people really need that.
Hive Dev Fund is not DHF.
It is a fund, funded by DHF to bring AI development tools to developers that can't afford them in the Hive ecosystem.
