You have skills difi. In fact, without you those other two theycallmedan and starkerz would have egg on their faces right now (moreso than already) for their slow delivery of their grand game raggyrok or ranga-rick or whatever it's called. Sunken-rock?
SPK network again... is really YOUR work that is for the most part sustaining that project.
If Dan and Starkers put out THEIR proposal for funding of SPK and that HBD is going to the dev team... aka: YOU. Then isn't this proposal you're putting out here essentially DOUBLE DIPPING?
My other (hypothetical thought) point is... what will the DHF be when (IF) many external builders start migrating projects over here to HIVE.
External builders are expected to fund their own projects since after all, that's the mission of blocktrades: to bring in new talent and new money at code level.
So will the DHF be a truly decentralized 'war chest' that all builders can utilize or will it remain a "I need to like you first" system since the true voting power comes from a select few for a select few - making it essentially a cash for mates money stash.
I think Hive could expand well in coming years but it will need to work on transparency and equal rights for equal talent/fair rights for all.
It just isn't an attractive place as of current. It's not hard to realize how POWER & PRIVILEGE work around here... and it's NOT at all decentralized.
You do have many valid points. First I'd like to thank you for the compliment. Some things are blessings and finding me to work on their projects kept those airdrops on Hive and off of competitors like BNB. However, my compensation from SPK proposal funding is due to drop by ~65% percent at the monthly level. I'm hoping to build these features for everybody to use; while a voting system, additional DEXs, and IPFS verification are what is still needed for SPK. There are a lot more things happening over there and $390/day is stretched very thin. I don't believe this proposal is double dipping, and is priced low enough that even both payouts to me won't pull a raise on inflation.
HAF is a nice step forward with bringing external builders but it, and Hive-Engine are missing key technologies like autonomous multi-signature wallets. I really do see my open-source contributions here as base level support for the Hive Ecosystem. Which brings me to the last point.
It really is a small community at the top and I've yet to have a proposal funded. However, I believe blocktrades is more likely to support this proposal than HiveEngine founders which is why I ask in the first place; some development adds features with middlemen, and some don't... one requires outside funding which will be made back at a premium through fees, and the other will lower costs and bring more users that retain capital to enrich an ecosystem.
