The waterfall of the Baatara Gorge, in the mountains of Lebanon, is a 255 m high waterfall located inside a dolina known as "the cave of the three bridges". Since the water included in the thaw, the waterfall is only active during the months of March and April. The place was unknown to Westerners until the mid-twentieth century, when it was explored by the French speleologist Henri Coiffait.
