Blessings, everyone! Today I drew a new microphone. I was inspired by the beautiful card from the indie game E97 Mic. It's an epic card. I chose it for today because I really liked the gradient colors in the background; it looks very elegant. You know, this microphone is very different from yesterday's. If you haven't seen it, I'll remind you that yesterday's was more minimalist and even futuristic, I'd say. This one, on the other hand, is more voluminous and has a modern, yet more classic shape. I've seen this microphone design a lot lately in various YouTuber and gamer videos. Because, of course, microphones aren't just used for music, that's obvious, lmao.
I've saved several screenshots of the entire drawing process, so you can see it from start to finish. It'll be interesting to see. As always, I started by drawing the card's inner frame. This is made up of one square inside another.
Next, I drew the central part, that is, the characteristic cylindrical handle. Following that, I drew the top part, which will be responsible for capturing the sound in real life. This part is very distinctive of this design because it has a ball. It's one of the funniest designs out there.
In the details section, I drew the missing internal divisions and some lines to give it more volume, you know, so it doesn't look so flat.
Now comes the painting, and this step is the most fun of all. I used a light red as the main color for the background; this color was taken from the card, you can see it in the background. I liked this red because it's eye-catching and not as flat as white. For the microphone, I chose metallic gray and black. And the inner background is a variety of blue tones. Now you can see how I applied each color.
