I think it's a very complicated question, but I think it boils down to some essential deciding factors like; what is your motivation? people that are sick and are desperate are more likely to jump from an unhealthy diet to a better one. Other things are emotional, social and practical attachments to the foods. I think this are the two biggest deciding factors and then you have environment, support and many other factors.

Very true. Often many of these “healthy” dieters are super sick, and eating the right foods will expose their condition—it becomes easier to see after the inflammation lowers! This scares off the observers who aren’t dieting; however, people who had observed me and were scared are now curious and have followed my example. Makes me so happy, because I can see that it is helping some of my dear friends and family :) <3
