IIRC he used to run a follow/comment/vote scheme. It was one of those follow me, upvote my post, leave a comment for a chance to be voted or something like that.
It was the impetus of our adding the contest spam category but he did agree to remove that requirement. Fairly certain, the behavior led to his obtaining a higher UA score which is kind of bullshit. Water under the bridge I suppose.
He has not relented on the post overvaluation and glad you pointed it out. I could probably spin up fuzzy nebulae pictures with Photoshop but no way in hell that is worth $170.
