Discord is a platform in the internet which allows each user to exchange messages and information thru instant message or thru call, where everyone can direct message a certain person or even chat or call in a particular group thru group chat at the same time. This platform is well known and widely used by many gamers or any type of group with the same interest, where we can easily interact and engage with each other.
This platform always try to innovate and make a one step ahead to the new way of modern communication. That's why they add more features to make it more convenient and more fun for each end user. One of those useful and very good feature is the discord bot. This discord bot allows an automation about fetching any important information or data, delivering and scheduling events or notifications, moderating the chat room and more. For example, we have a Steemit discord chat, and we have a discord bot that automatically answer or display the current amount of any cryptocurrency, such as Steem or Steem Dollars SBD, by just entering a simple command, isn't that convenient? You can just made your own bot in your discord and there are some already made bot from the internet, which they also share the codes from github, but the easiest way is to invite an specific bot in your discord. To add or invite a bot in your discord group chat, you should have a "Manage Server" permission from the specific discord server. You can search and select your bot in Carbonitex or in Bots Discord, just make sure to check their features before adding it.
All you just need to do is to click invite or click join my server, you will be prompted where you want to place that bot, then it will going to ask for your permission. You can add Coinmarket bot in your discord by inviting him here, where it use a command like $sbd or $steem or $btc, then it will going to display their price. You can also add the Crypto Whale bot here, where its command is in form of !p sbd or !p steem or !p BTC.

No mam, he/she must have a 'Manage Server' permission first, in order to do that.
