These automatic zero rewards blacklists are the bane of Hive and have driven many good people away.
@blocktrades why are you still delegating to buildawhale who downvotes many perfectly legitimate posts from good Hiveans to zero.
I know @offgridlife has been subject to the same poor treatment.

I don't post on Hive for the rewards.
I post for the privilege of having a community controlled censorship resistant platform.
It is when attempts to protect the blockchain end up hurting the community and pushing away good people that I raise my voice.
AUTOMATIC DOWNVOTING TO ZERO of real users posting legitimate content is TOXIC to this chain and to the investment of all the Whales, Orcas, Dolphins and even Minnows.
I certainly post for the rewards but I'm also against unnecessary downvotes. It chases people away from the platform.. if they started doing that to me Id just power down and leave ..
I'm really not sure how downvoting a post with less than $10 in rewards is even going to save the blockchain in the first place. And save it from what exactly? The only thing it does is reduce the amount of daily users we have here, which is already low as is compared to most platforms.

I'd like to think blacklists like this have warded off more bad actors than interesting community members. No way to know for certain, but with 26k+ on this particular blacklist, I figure there must be some other quality content being crushed in the mix. That or they’ve already left Hive forever despite have something worthwhile to offer.
I’ve always wondered why blocktrades delegates so much to the account. Maybe he thinks it’s to protect the blockchain. It’s something we may never have an answer to, like a lot of things that go on around here.
