I thought I would like to be a trucker when I was young. Luckily I realized that I didn't have the tolerance for stupidity required for the job before I went down that path. I believe a person driving a small tin can that jumps in front of a multi-ton rig and hits their brakes should be crushed by said rig, thereby reducing the stupid population and ending a danger to the gene pool. A great public service in my mind. How hard is it to realize that a trucker needs room to gain speed going down the hill to have the momentum to get up the next hill or that they can't stop all that weight on a dime? Through the years watching the ever increasing regulations, paperwork and law enforcement harassment, I knew I made a very wise decision not to be a trucker. Thank you for your service to this country in Nam and keeping our economy moving through your career as a trucker. My hats off to you.
