For the most part yes, especially when it comes to creating my own posts. I’m stuck on the worst blacklist on the entire platform and there has been zero communication about why still — I’ve tried numerous times. I wish there was another option bc I loved posting content here & still think the concept has a lot of potential. The account I had been building since 2017 is officially cooked. As much as I enjoyed posting on here it’s clear a certain group is always going to be a toxic plume and unfortunately they have so much power that there is nothing I can do to change things.

I don't blame you. This place definitely doesn't feel like how it used to be. A lot of people I followed have just disappeared. Engagement isn't the best, and in terms of creations I don't see a whole lot of things actually going anywhere anymore. Our volume has dried up even with Binance adding margin trading and a USDC pairing.
At this point the platform is under the control of boomer bloggers.
If I were taken off the blacklist I’d jump right back in as I have so much new stuff to share. But I’m just not gonna be somebody who provides good content to a platform desperate for good content & then have zero chance of earning rewards for it. That’s insane, especially in the year 2025. Some of my favorite people were broom swept off the platform just like me. It’s sad to see really. But yes the majority of control of Hive’s trajectory currently lies in the hands of people I don’t have the same mindset as. Although the concept of Hive seems great, the execution is not something I align with. I will always hope things end up evolving positively for Hive, but I’m just not sure about it happening. I haven’t been keeping up to date with anything going on Hive lately. I assume since it hasn’t been making headlines it’s the same old DHF and reward milking by the same people as usual & all the “upcoming projects” are still yet to launch. Sucks bc I was obsessed with Hive for so long.
This place has had what, 5 years now? All I can think of since gaining that freedom is that we funded a rally car and an overpriced documentary nobody saw.
I don't feel much sense of community on here, it feels more like there's specific friend groups and if you're not part of it, you're unlikely to go far. Which is why new accounts pop up, either immediately are targeted for not following weird rules like sourcing every image.
And then there are rules for the regular poster that don't really apply to those groups. The recent KE thing is a big one. So many curators making hundreds per month but hold like 1k HP, but they're never put under the spotlight. This place does feel like it's slowly strangling itself to death. It feels more legacy than legacy socials at this point which are offering advertising revenue to people now. Without a 7 day window.
It was noted recently that we have less than 5k actual frequent posters on here. Everything's far too thin and there's no real incentive to stick around if you're new. To build any account from curation is going to take years, and to post as a new account is to just get ignored or be under the radar, all for a measly few dollars.
But as you said, those thriving on the DHF are fine. The regular writer is fine. They aren't creators like the ones that appear on socials.
