Great post.
I am not a fan of self-upvoting, especially for comments, and I will upvote a comment only if the author has not upvoted himself.
I would love to have the same policy when voting for posts, but since 99.9% of people seem to vote for their own posts, it would leave me very little on which to cast a vote.
