Then after you have been taxed to death, the environmentalists want you to just be extinct. Meanwhile the elite have uploaded themselves into machines.

As a former university prof, I can say a lot, and most of it revolves around "what the hell happened to my profession?"
I was a student in public schools from the mid fifties until 1980. My experience would agree with you.
I don't recall public "education" being so.....(words fail me)
