that and for the last few years they have been telling kids that self driving trucks will put them out of the job, of course it might be 20 years before that happens, or maybe the shortage of drivers willing to work at the wage they offer will lead to higher wages and/or an acceleration of the adoption of self driving technology. at one time I enjoyed it immensely...but the job changed.
