RE: The Miners of steemit & the ethical use of votes.

in #discussion8 years ago

Hmm... i saw this kind of replies to some posts few times since i'm on steemit.

And as always, where is money involved it will be people like that who will do such things.
It is our human nature to troll or to steal things when "we" can.

I saw also @steemcleaner and other ones who do react to such things and can do it well do downvote and help to stop this kind of behavior.

So, it can be taken as an act of stealing from community. As you said, it is ok to upvote some of your posts to give them a boost or to take back some of your work if it was not appreciated too much. Or, if you are earning only from steemit without investing real money, then it is more than welcome to do that.

But trolling is not ok.

So, i vote no for so many dots ;-)

I see also there are some bots that you can talk with and have some small gains from there. I kinda like that to play around and be creative because some of them could really be fun at some point and in real world they can be a good point of reference for AI. That's why i'm having a chit chat with that ones from time to time and try to not exaggerate.

You can try to do what you feel right but also, there should be a way to check that user well before some bad / good action taken there.

Just a quick reaction doesn't do good without some bad moves. Yes, some small "punishment" for that action it may be needed for that user to see that it is somebody there doing things against that.

Also, the new users created who do just that and have from the start money for the power should be from start stopped to do such things. Because lot of people know how to use them now and will fill up the network with lot of dots... or other things with no sense, just for profit. And that's not right from the start.

Cheers
