A trade war would be bad for both of us. They would have junk bonds that went into the toilet and we'd have crappy junk that we wouldn't be buying from them.
I'm imagining that they'd start repossessing some of the land that the junk bonds are tied up in.
I'm starting to wonder if the idiots on the hill just want wars, because I can't think of any good reason to go to war with china, Russia, or Iran.
