The rate at which some steemians especially newbies engage in spamming is becoming alarming. In the past 3 days, I have received over 8 unsolicited private chats on my personal phone line from steemians begging for upvote and follow. some even sent me their post links directly to me for upvote.
Not only is this action unprofessional and unethical, it is also a violation of privacy. I want to appeal to those engaging in spamming to STOP now because it will do them no good rather it can damage their reputation.

Yeah you are right, I am doing everything I can to explain them that the things that they are doing is not correct, and they have to change their way of posting and commenting, but they really don't understand, imagine that I block people almost everyday in my group because they don't follow the rules, and most of them are really begging for upvotes, I hope that steemit team will be more strict with such people and block those accounts but not just to mute them, they are really ruining the community, they are diseases.
