“Are They Really That Stupid...?!?”

in #discussion3 years ago

For those that need to hear this:

If someone has a different life experience than you, they aren’t automatically stupid. If someone doesn’t have the same information you have, that doesn’t make them an idiot. If someone prioritized understanding other things than you prioritized, that doesn’t mean they were irresponsible.

We all have a unique journey. Clearly we operate as if we’re “right” to think and act as we do or we would have thought and acted differently. It follows that someone else who did act and think differently appears “wrong” to us becuase if that was “better” in our minds, wouldn’t we have done that and thought that instead?

In times of great polarization, don’t shy away from smart people you don’t understand. On the contrary, lean in. Sharing understanding through relationship and communication of experiential knowledge and data transfer can lead to wisdom and growth not only about the world you exist in, but about yourself and those around you. Withhold judgement and certainly withhold guilting and shaming. We all have unique experiences and some might even say unique realities, custom crafted to support our consciousness evolution.

Engage in love to understand each other. Divided we fall. United we stand. It’s okay to disagree with someone and continue doing and being you, but understanding WHY you disagree and them understanding why they aren’t convinced to follow your path causes both of you, if you’re honest and sincere, to better understand what is and be less wrong.

Here’s an example to drive this home: bitcoin is now $64,000 each. I’ve created videos, blog posts, started meetups, given conference talks, been on panel discussions, shared my views in person one on one, and more to spread awareness about this for over 8 years. I don’t need to shame or guilt anyone who didn’t listen to me or had a different perspective. When I said to just put in a little money and to learn about it and so many decided to ignore it instead, I don’t have to feel bad about that. Those who sold becuase they didn’t understand what it is? That’s okay. I did what I could and the universe does the rest. Evolution takes place. Living awareness is unavoidable. Avoidance eventually leads to death.

That’s just one example of where I think I was “right” about something and those who disagreed with me were “wrong.” There are an uncountable number of things I’m wrong about. Things I am ignorant of. Things I don’t even know are important for me to understand. As I become more aware, I think those things will rise to my prioritized attention. That will often happen through relationship with others.

And so the wheel of life continues...

I hope you have some great conversations today with smart people you disagree with, and you all become more aware through the interaction.

Consider yourself "related!", lol :). I noticed you brought up Bitcoin. You may know some or all of this, but if you did not, I would like to introduce you to the deep rabbit hole that is the take over of Bitcoin by the Big Banks.

Blockstream is now controlled by the Bilderberg Group - seriously! AXA Strategic Ventures, co-lead investor for Blockstream's $55 million financing round, is the investment arm of French insurance giant AXA Group - whose CEO Henri de Castries has been chairman of the Bilderberg Group since 2012.

A MEGA collection of 100+ links with evidence regarding Bitcoin's takeover and problems.

Steemit's takeover was more obvious because Justin Sun's an idiot heh.

Haha! What is this from four years ago? What does the FIO actually stand for here, I’m curious?

Foreign Intelligence Office I think - A subset of Center for Cyber Intel, with country departments branching off it..

...and there is nothing in the world more scary than an idiot with money!

Gimme some money!!! lol

Recently i was trying to get a small group to join a bitcoin faucet.
(best place to start for those with little money, but much time)

Well, they said that bitcoin was only used by contract killers and drug dealers
and that they liked the govern-cement to be in charge of the money.
And that they wouldn't listen to anyone (like me) who has obviously drunk the Koolaid.

oh well.

There is a calling someone stupid.
Most people have an IQ with one std deviation of the mean.
So that most people are neither much more intelligent nor much stupider than the average.

However, it is this group that calls people stupid for not agreeing with their ideas.

The really intelligent people can see multiple views, and know how ignorant they have been in the past.

Thus, calling someone stupid is just a lashing out and a showing what they themselves fear the most.

Stupids are everywhere to make this world more beautiful ...

Reading this reminded me of hanging with you and your lovely family. I hope one day we can all get together and camp or have a barbeque or something!

Take care man, much love to you and la familia X

This sentiment is what drove me down the path of research. It would confuse me when I would hear people who were obviously much smarter than me, believing things that seemed crazy to me. My dentist was a morman bishop. I can poke holes in the theology being raised around it, but this man way smarter than me believed it with all his heart.

If you listen to people, you aren't always convinced, but if you have an open mind, you can usually understand why they believe what they do.

I Just recently found my steemit keys to come explore Hive, and make some posts. Pretty stoked to see you here. You were always one of my favorite follows. Keep it coming!

You stand for love, community, oneness, non=duality and these values are what make me think of you as a noble soul.
It was a pleasure reading this.
Thank you!
