Their is no population bomb, many civilized societies birth rates are dropping. This planet can also handle many more people, but the whole system is designed on scarcity to drive fake economies.

I believe that 1st world countries are seeing reduction in birth rates due to the propaganda of the Population Bomb. Whether people are taught that they shouldn't have 10 kids like their grand parents did, that they should be "independent" and wait to start a family in the their 30s or that they just can't afford it due to taxes and costs added via UN policies and sneaky Non-Government Agency meddling.
Use it or loose it.
Fertility peaks in the twenties.
Ahhh come on man, that is such a downer. I hate when the truth invades on my fantasies of what is still possible in late middle age years
I have a two year old GRAND son...
the thought of me being his father and having to look after him?
as much energy as he has?
(shudder)...
Fun to have the grandkids visit, and also a sigh of relief when they go back home
even better when they do NOT visit...I go visit them.
actually I think that males and females are different.
(who'd a thunk?)
females peak fertility is in their twenties...after which there is a rapid decline.
males?
dunno...I've heard of 90+ year old fathers..
I am more apt to think it is a financial issue. When I was a kid a middle class family could raise several kids with one parent working, but not these days. If you are working 40 hours a week it is hard to raise several kids. You would have to make a fortune just to cover the daycare!
People are just getting more selfish in my opinion. No time for a kid. They get dogs now. It used to be 2.something kids per family now it's 2.something dogs.
