In my last post, I wrote about making a shamrock necklace for my sister because inspiration struck. Truth be told, that one project started an evening of crafting. I decided to use up some more of my leftover odds and ends to make stuff while I inventoried what I might actually need to replace.
Among those odds and ends were these glass mushrooms and mottled green round ceramic beads.
Not enough for a necklace. Rather heavy for earrings. Hmmm.
I threaded them onto beading wire, added a chain from my useful-looking scraps pile, and a toggle clasp, all in a weathered copper finish for more earth tones. Presto! A nature lover's bracelet.
The economy is tanking, war is ongoing, and who knows what will happen next. I can't control that, but I can make stuff. So can you. What are you doing to be productive in spite of the chaos around us? Do you want to see more posts about stuff I made recently? Chime in with a comment!
Spam will be aggressively downvoted. You know who you are.

That's super cute and crafty. I have a set of little blue glass mushroom earrings, presumably from the same mold as your beads.
I have a hugely productive plan to combat the end-of-the-nation blues. I'm hoping to get back into hiving shortly to share.

Welcome back to the blockchain!
Thanks! she said, twenty-some days later...
Well, welcome back again, then.
Thanks!
I always enjoy your crafting posts.
AAAHHHHH that's so cute! Would actually wear that if my skin didn't melt jewellery ;-;
I love this mushroom bracelet. It will look bold on the neck.
Unless your neck is smaller than my wrist, or I add at least 10"/25cm of chain, it's not likely to work there!
