It's great you could repair it. The kit looks good, but shows how complex these devices are. I've not replaced a screen, but had to get a new battery for a phone where the old one swelled up. I got a kit with a load of tools that I didn't actually need.
I am an Android guy and I've considered the Fairphone that is made to be repaired. These devices ought to have a decent lifespan.
