You Make a fair point Marion. But for some reason I feel more in control on Steemit. I know there are some bad selfish people here like there are in all walks of life. But here using the blockchain we can become a very powerful influence in the world. On face book you are just another slave to the advertiser. Steemit had the potential to really change peoples lives in a very positive way. It might not seem like it now but the platform is still very much in its infancy. I have no one here who reposts my stuff to fb. We have to fight an ourdated unfair governmental system somehow. And a social media that is not censored and hands power to its contributors is a good start. Big up the Steem 😎😎

Andy, Andy, Andy. you have not idea who puts your stuff on Facebook. I can put your comment you just gave me above on my Facebook account and yu would never know. NEVER. I know you have not seen what I have seen here or read what I have. Either you have not taken the time nor wish to. The difference here is you can not get rid of these people nor block them, nor can you deactivate. If something is free to do as I wish I should be able to do as I wish. I can't. That is just it. For some reason I feel this is pushed down my throat and marketed just like everything else. LIke what gas to use, what coffee to drink, which bank, who to vote for etc etc etc. There is no privacy and you are not protected is all I am saying. That was your point and that is my reply. Do not fool yourself into believing that you are safe. I actually feel I have no control. Since I can not really get rid of scammers. As far as helping people that is a different entity. We were discussing your privacy. Plus...everybody can see what you write. Is that privacy? Anyways, you mind is made up. So be it....
The power is not in the contributors hands. The power is in the hands of the Whales who have invested their capitol from a different source. Oh, so say like this world. They have created something different. But it still has rules. Sure uncensored sort of, but censored in another way. Just like any other organization, this is helping someone and some people are getting very rich on this.
We can't say that all whales are bad, The same way you can't say all ruch people are bad. But here we may have a chance to put together more good rich people than bad, and make some changes. Thats all I am saying. Oh and have some fun on the way 😎

No..and I do not think I implied that. I just was stating how I believe from what I read what really got this going. Sadly however, no one can leave this even if they want to stop. You can not deactivate and all the smut and naughtiness and dirties are on here forever. No way to disappear.
Dont try to justify or interact with A holes. They are not worth you time. Stick with me check out the nice people I have found over the last week. I may not understand how the blockchain or even crypto really works but its going to be fun trying. We have started so lets see where this goes. He uploaded and shared a picture of Craig's cousin's wife with her twin sister. They live out west. When I pointed it out he accused me of stealing 6cents from him. The nonsense went on for a while and then I muted them. I did not realize at first they were an asshole. I thought they made an error. I mean the huge assholes like hejin. Which does nothing really , other than I cannot see their comments. Which can go on for ever. I thought I could be logical with them. Help them understand. Then I gave up. So what you are saying is that I should just let that be ok. Ok because its decentralized. Everyone can do what they want..beg, borrow and steal. One day when we are sitting at St. Peter's gate you will find something to agree with me on. I wlil bring lunch. The impression that comes across the miles of cyberland is that you always like to be right and to point it out, without asking more questions. I hope to hell I am wrong.
