Writing Without the Hard Grind - Ancient Chinese Wisdom

It's another one of my posts on (sort of) not doing anything. I found this to be fascinating, informative and super refreshing in the age of people like Gary V religiously endorsing "The Grind". The ancients followed a different path from this:

Nourishing is not the same as forcing things. It isn’t about having another espresso for an energy boost (the contemporary equivalent of the trick with the needle). It is about being able to attentively follow the ebb and flow of our natural fluctuations in vitality. We are living, breathing, embodied beings. Sometimes we are brimming over with energy. Sometimes we need to rest. Either way, forcing things just makes it worse.

I've tried this and know it to be effective. that's why I'm so eager to share these things. It may not make you the best amount of money or recognition or just anything in general. At least it won't happen for the short term. But ask yourself if you want to have 100% of one thing, 20% of 3 other things or get 50% of all 4 things. At the end pick the path that is going to give you the most overall benefit in terms of health, well being and success :)
