Imagine a life in which every day you have to watch beheadings, disturbing porn, or rape. Hardly an enticing prospect for most.

Yet, it is the professional life Google and YouTube moderators — as well as Facebook mods — suffer. Some of which who even end up with PTSD. 

The Verge has a great article interviewing moderators for the Palo Alto company.
