Plane ignorance

The poll conducted by Friends of the Earth shows that almost two-thirds of the people in the UK want to know their flights' carbon pollution.

Based on this survey Friends of the Earth is calling on the airlines to make public their flights' carbon pollution so that their customers could make informed decisions.

The said poll was conducted in the UK and probably if conducted in the USA it would have also yielded similar results showing a propensity for people in advanced countries to be more conscious of carbon pollution or for the matter any kind of pollution.

However, I doubt the same could be said of people in developing countries.

Nevertheless it is appropriate for us to raise such awareness among all people and the sharing of this article hopefully contributes to such awareness.

Dear @devann

almost two-thirds of the people in the UK want to know their flights' carbon pollution.

Seriously? Somehow I had impression that hardly anyone out there cares about carbon pollution. That would be such a nice surprise to learn that people actually do care.

Yours, Piotr

I am having serious doubts too, @crypto.piotr. I think the survey is flawed. Most people haven't even heard of flight's carbon pollution.
