RE: Facebook knows a lot about me - here's everything I found | CNBC

The need for steemit to introduce ads may not arise. A few days back I read a blog post by @taskmaster4450 in which he said,

"On the livestream last week, Ned made it clear that he is not going to be focusing upon the social media end of things. That means that Steemit.com is not going to get any updates and the Destiny project is shelved.

There was a time when Steemit.com served a purpose. As the flagship application, this was the one that allowed the blogging platform to come into being. That time has passed. We now see a variety of other applications that not only serve the same function, but do it better with more features. Two that are garnering users are Busy.org and @steempeak. Both of these are better interfaces with a lot more features. In short, they provide a much better user experience."

Here is the link: https://steemit.com/busy/@taskmaster4450/it-is-time-to-stop-using-steemit-com

I have started using steempeak.com and busy.org. In addition I am also encouraging the admins of FB groups (of which I am a member) to have a look at busy.org, steempeak.com and 1ramp.io.

Have a great weekend.

Thank you @devann for your comment.

I really wish to know how Ned is planning to cover costs of maintaining servers etc of Steemit platform. Without bringing businesses into this platform.

Hopefully other apps will follow different path and will create demand for STEEM. Thank you for that link. I already do not like sound of the title :)

ps.
Are post and comments published on Steemit visible also via steempeak.com ? and the other way around? If I comment something using steempeak.com - will it be also on Steemit?

How does it work?

Yours
Piotr

I have not paid much attention to it but I have seen my postings on busy.org and steempeak.com in steemit.com.

This response to you is posted via busy.org. You should get it on steemit.com.

However, whatever I post on dlike.io appears on steemit.com but not the other way around.
